Strong Weekend Performances for Eijerkamp Pigeons in One Loft Races Saturday, September 20th, 1st, 3rd and 9th Place in One Loft Races
This Saturday 20th of September 2025 brought three excellent results for Eijerkamp pigeons in international One Loft Races.
One of the highlights came from the Derby Zagreb, where Team Jala, Josip and Alen Tomašic, very close friends of Oliver Sabol for many years, achieved a remarkable victory in the final race with the super pigeon Cro-25-08669. Father is our homebred NL23-9099950NL23-9099950, grandson of Grande Leo NL19-1411263NL19-1411263, Beetle's Turbo NL20-1249653NL20-1249653 and Magic Euro"Magic Euro" Mother of this pigeon is CRO-23-12255, she carries the super Eijerkamp genes of Turbo Rossi"Turbo Rossi" and Worldfamous Euro"Euro". The Derby Zagreb final was a true test of endurance and quality. A total of 2,266 pigeons started the One Loft Race, and only 783 pigeons reached the final. The liberation took place at 07:30 for a challenging 500 km flight, with conditions proving to be demanding for both pigeons and fanciers. Team Jala’s winning pigeon arrived at 15:08 with an impressive speed of 1,091 meters per minute, securing the top position and the prestigious final victory.

Team Eijerkamp 3. Place in the Talent Quatro Final in Czech Republic
The second highlight of the weekend came from the Talent Quatro One Loft Race in the Czech Republic, where Team Eijerkamp secured an excellent 3. Place in the Final. The decisive race covered 510 km from Vrpolje, with liberation taking place at 08:10. Conditions were demanding, but our young talent NL25-1095405NL25-1095405 – "Hans 405" showed his quality and determination. At 14:12, "Hans 405" arrived and was clocked in 3rd position, earning a top spot on the podium. This outstanding pigeon carries the valuable bloodlines of our world-famous Ché (NL04-1560084NL04-1560084), once again proving the lasting influence and strength of this legendary breeder within the Eijerkamp lofts.
Top 10 Finish in the Derby AS Croatia Semi-Final
The third performance of the weekend came in the Derby AS Croatia, where our pigeon NL25-1095408NL25-1095408 achieved a strong 9th place in the Semi-Final. The race was flown over 411 km from Hollabrunn, Austria, with liberation at 07:20. Despite tough competition, NL25-1095408NL25-1095408 showed outstanding form and secured an 9th place among the first arrivals. This talented pigeon comes from proven bloodlines: the sire is a super cock carrying the genes of Simon Wolf x Koopman, while the dam is our super hen Bella Ché NL20-1248317NL20-1248317, directly linked to the famous Ché family that continues to deliver excellence in racing and breeding.
