Team Hans & Evert-Jan Eijerkamp Wins Final Race 1 – Avirings Derby Pro 2025 “Vasili Slovenian Dream” winning the race with an four minutes ahead!
On September 13th, 2025, Team Hans & Evert-Jan Eijerkamp celebrated a remarkable triumph by winning Final Race 1 of the Avirings Derby Pro 2025 (508 km). Against a starting field of 1,034 pigeons, their hen NL25-1095104NL25-1095104 "Vasili Slovenian Dream" was the very first to arrive at the loft, winning the race in spectacular fashion with an four minutes ahead of the competition.

The winning hen NL25-1095104NL25-1095104 is a daughter of Vasili, one of the most promising breeders in the Eijerkamp loft. She combines the bloodlines of proven champions from both sides of her pedigree.
Her father "Vasili" (NL21-1668247NL21-1668247) is a direct son of Bert"Bert", the 11. National Ace pigeon Natour-Speed WHZB 2019. Vasili was himself an excellent racer but has quickly established his reputation as a top breeder. He is not only the father of this year’s Avirings Derby Pro Final Champion, but also of Olympic Neptunus, (NL22-8228912NL22-8228912) who became 2. Olympiad Pigeon in Maastricht FCI Grand Prix OLR 2022.
Bert"Bert" is also father to Beetles African Dream"Beetles African Dream", one of the most successfully pigeons in the Afrika Pro OLR ever. In the 300 km race 8 she won and in the final, she arrived in the First Drop and ultimately secured the 3rd prize.
The dam of the winner is Aphrodite"Aphrodite" (NL23-9099835NL23-9099835), a proven racing hen with top results in the As Golden Race. She has already produced winners in tough competition, confirming her value as a foundation breeding hen.
