A few weeks ago, Henk Douna clinched gold in the National Grand Prix Chalons en Champagne, winning 1. National against 9,709 pigeons with his champion pigeon "Boreen", who also posted the fastest time against 30,333 pigeons. We featured a detailed report on this victory, highlighting that the winning pigeon of the National Grand Prix was bred at the Eijerkamp breeding lofts in Brummen. "Boreen" is a daughter of the top breeder Bor"Bor", paired with "Ireen", one of Henk Douna's best pigeons. Now, Henk Douna has achieved another remarkable victory in Friesland, winning 1. Provincial Luyksgestel against 5,068 pigeons with "Bonte Eijerkamp", another direct Eijerkamp pigeon. This pigeon has consistently performed well, securing multiple early prizes in speed and middle-distance races.
