The train in Laren thundered through at express speed, and once again this past weekend, there was a bombardment of top pigeons, during which the southern region of Section 9 was completely overruled by the dominance of the Eijerkamp-Paalman combination. The results show positions 1 through 11, as well as 48 pigeons among the first 100 prize pigeons out of the 3,634 pigeons in competition.
Peter Beentjes from Heemskerk is one of the top speed race players in Amalgamtion 6 - Noord Holland. Despite having a relatively small team, Peter consistently excels in speed races, with many of his achievements attributed to descendants from Eijerkamp pigeons. In 2020, a joint breeding took place, where Peter received two young pigeons from a special pairing of his top pigeon, ‘654 hen, when coupled to topbreeder ‘Magic Euro’.

An excellent race once again at the Eijerkamp-Paalman lofts in Laren during the second Speed/Natour race from Tongeren (168 km). Arnold entered 174 pigeons ( both old and youngsters) of which 90 plazed in the prizes.

Maarten Hakvoort, a seasoned pigeon fancier from Urk, has claimed the prestigious 1. National Lorris in Sector 4, competing against 5,470 pigeons. His winning bird, ‘Mr. Grey’ (NL23-4244381), was bred from his top pigeon ‘New Arthur’, a bird with an impressive pedigree and performance record.
